We are a company
built and run by consultants

As the President and Co-founder of Kognitiv, Grignon oversees the firm’s fleet of consultants and manages all sales and business development. Prior to launching Kognitiv in 2016, Grignon spent 5 years managing the Workday post-production support department at Meteorix (acquired by IBM). Grignon has nearly a decade of experience providing Workday support to Fortune 500 companies, and specializes in advanced compensation and security. He holds a BA in entrepreneurship from Suffolk University and grew up in Detroit.

My career has taught me the suite of inefficiencies and frustrations that follow an HCM or Financials system go-live.

Starting Kognitiv gave me the space to find and implement a consulting model that made sense logistically and validated my theories on its structure while fostering a work culture fueled on collective team successes and never-ending support for one another.

I believe that the ways consulting companies engage customers has to change, and I’m proud that Kognitiv, as a consulting practice specializing in Workday, embraces the on-demand model which aligns itself with today's on-demand economy. Clients who work with us dictate how and when they want to be helped vs. being forced into an engagement they aren’t ready for.

Luke Switkowski holds a B.S in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and has been involved in HR system consulting for the past 13 years.

Why Kognitiv?

The founders and consultants of Kognitiv live and breathe Workday®. We understand that going live with your new system is just the first step in a long partnership with Workday® and its ecosystem. Implementations are fast and furious, with work like reports, dashboards, and knowledge transfer often postponed until after a go-live. In some cases, your implementation partner has already moved on to its next project. This is why Kognitiv exists: to bridge the gap for those clients wanting to better maintain and enhance their system post a go-live.

Our employees are the engine of our company

We seek to be the best in the Workday® ecosystem, in both customer and employee satisfaction. We want to hire the best, and we want to retain the best. We have seen that happy employees go hand-in-hand with happy customers. We truly believe that if our employees feel engaged, challenged, and empowered with the work they do every day, they will provide top-notch service for our clients and our prospective clients.

Values that our employees embody

Building Bottom-Up

Growing a company bottom-up is typically the opposite of what consultants see in a fast-growing services company. We didn't start the company by hiring a bunch of managers to start 'managing'. Rather, we hire the best consultants and we promote from within when we see an opportunity for management. We trust in our employees and want to maximize their opportunities as Kognitiv continues on its journey.
